This weekend my youngest daughter came to spend time with me and her older sister. She wanted to make a quilt for a friend who had had a baby girl. As usual it was "mum have you got " and "mum can you help " LOL. So we spent Saturday and Sunday making a simple quilt. With a bit ( well a lot ) of help from Mum this is what we came up with. :)
Carroll that is beautiful!! I bet you all had a great time sitting and quilting together, perhaps you should start to work on a quilt that you can keep in the family next time. I love the idea that the Amish have when they use fabric from their old dresses and so each piece has a memory attached to it.
